What Went Wrong Here?

Kal Tire mailer with handwritten correction

Got this in the mail. What went wrong here?! The black marker “3” written there is actually just part of the print, not inked on after the fact. This is part of the design. Buuuuut… 1) It’s LESS impressive to be better than a 3-season than tire than an all-season tire! Why draw attention to the fact that you compared them to the weakest competition you could? 2) The scratched out original reads “All-season” but they refer to them as “All-weather” later. 3) They specify the winter tires “we tested” but not the all/3-season tires “we tested”. Even if they did, you’re a tire company. You know which tires are crap, and you could have picked those! 4) Was the average different 32.8%? The best to the worst?
5) Someone find me a 32.8% relationship between ANY of these numbers. 5.78 is 76% of 7.59 or 59% of 9.87. Taken the other way, 7.59 is 131% of 5.78 and 9.87 is 171% By all means, get winter tires, but that scratched on 3 and the random percentage that doesn’t add up bother me!
