Zoo Outing
2023-04-04
We’ve had no trouble exhausting each day so far, and ourselves along with it. Atlas, who doesn’t have to carry an increasingly heavy baby everywhere, is fairing just fine with 45 minute stroller naps and an early start to each day. Today we made it to the zoo, where tour buses were the most exciting part of the experience, followed by ducks only posing as zoo animals, followed by a statue of a zoo animal, followed by a puddle, with the actual zoo creatures all in a distant last place. To be fair, proximity had a lot to do with it, except buses which would still win if they were a mile away. Mom and I had a very good, stress free day ourselves, and retired comfortably in the couch with enough time left over for a movie after Atlas went down. So far so good! +6
